Training After an Injury or Surgery
Cleared to exercise after an injury or surgery, but not feeling like yourself yet? I’m Lexie Peterson, a personal trainer in Bend, Oregon. I help people rebuild strength, mobility and confidence for everyday life, at a pace that makes sense for their body.
Get in touchI’ve been there
I’ve dealt with herniated disks in my back from a childhood injury, so I know how frustrating it is when your body doesn’t move the way it used to. That experience shapes how I coach: patient, careful and focused on helping you trust your body again.
How we work
- 1
Start with your clearance
Before we begin, you’ll have the OK from your doctor or PT.
- 2
Consultation
We talk about what happened, what you’ve been cleared for, and what normal looks like for you.
- 3
Build back gradually
Strength, mobility and conditioning, progressed step by step with careful coaching on form.
- 4
Everyday goals
Carrying groceries, playing with your kids, hiking, getting back on your skis: we train for the life you want back.
Working alongside your doctor or PT
I don’t replace your doctor or PT. I pick up where they leave off, follow any guidelines they give you, and if something doesn’t feel right, I’ll send you back to them before we go further.
